No, I think it’s because of the soil/ ground composition Ros
yes thought so - just wondered especially in America - but underground abrasion and erosion etc makes more sense

Mine is on almost constantly Ros .....and I can hear it’s raining here too now .....although it was beautifully sunny all day .
yes it was but a chilly egde - we are on timer - because don't need it on in the day and i would forget to alter the thermostat to go to work but I just overide it at week ends - hate being cold

we have pit shafts, we have water running into those...more and more sinkholes will appear.
