yes air pollution was bad here tonight Ros, but I think we've missed most of it. Leanne went for a run earlier and had to take her inhaler three times while she was out

Remember that girl I had with me on an NVQ placement for over a year? she called in the other day and asked if I would give her a reference as others weren't available and I was next port of call.
I know you can't give a bad ref by law but I'm puzzled as to what I have to say.........given the fact I've never done one before

they come back every term - we had 10 points to improve on and we have improved in every one and in two going even further to nearly achieved - will take about another year I think before we are out of measures or 3 more visits

According to Jo, that says it all apparently. While I want her to do well, she's just not cut out for 'officey' stuff , and it's how to word it. She's apparently volunteering with the CAB and they want references

Hi Kimota we were very upset when we went into measures as we felt we didn't deserve it but when I think back - the school is now far more focused but we also had a poorly Head as well who has since retired + we are catchment for a very deprived housing Estate and really look after them

not an easy job Ros...I have the highest regard for teachers especially iwith constant political interference and that by the way is aimed at all sides. Teachers should be left to alone to do their jobs
