We had someone like that come in to probation. To be fair, he had been through a hell of a lot (family wise) but he at one point threatened to stab himself in the eye and had wrapped himself in newspaper under his clothes as he thought it would save him from police tasers

there is nowhere for these people to go...the street where the police confiscate their belongings because they shouldn't be on the street....where the hell are they supposed to go

We manged to calm him down with his probation officer and us in reception with the manager and police talking to him. they led him away and I never found out what happened to him but for starters it was all down to not getting the help from the services that he needed
