I'm not saying there is anything wrong with borrowing money or credit cards Baz, I just don't because debt terrifies me and I would be scared stiff for some reason I couldn't pay.  Its fine if you stay in manageable limits, like you said some people get so far in its unbelievable  I mean 40k on benefits, they must be totally off their rocker.

We got caught too ,when Mr Baz was forced to take early retirement through ill health .....nothing like these people ....but enough that we had to extend the term of our mortgage ...we will still be paying it when I'm 80 ....and we were within a couple of years of it being paid off ! But c'est la vie
