yes agree but it just wouldn't be that simple - and mistkes have been made although DNA etc -prob  makes that less likely

I think we have the scientific knowledge to be much more accurate

only if you can guarantee no mistakes and that's impossible if there is no DNA and that's the only reason I can't support it  You only have to look at the Rachel Nickell case to see how some of our police can be incompetent

Black plastic doesn't reflect light, so can not be seen and sorted by the scanners and could end up contaminating other materials such as glass bottles. Microwave food trays which are normally black are also made of a special type of plastic which can not be easily recycled.

  You know, in this day and age, surely someone could develop something to recognise this
