I had a blazer in the seniors...black  summer uniform we had a blue polka dot dress, it was like something out of the 40's adverts 

Nah, we never had a blazer in the seniors. You could wear what  you liked (within rules)  

wow very trendy- wore uniform in primary as well

Mind you, that was later on in seniors. You had to stick to uniform in earlier years

and mine -I was one of the last  to go there before it changed to comprehensive -my sister went  to the same school when it was a comprehensive between the old grammar school and secondary modern school on different sites

we didn't have a grammar school you had to travel, my mate and I decided we didn't want to go and failed deliberately or so with thought...they made us resit it again because we failed a fraction

school was like that before I got there apparently

my name was called out on a regular basis  but we never were malicious, it was all pranks...like the piano key, the cupboard where the light switches were and stuff
