Ok, so I'm a short arse.....people need to cater for me and people like me

but they cater for the average petite size, it's like saying they should make odd shoes for people with different leg lengths...it would not make financial sense

there are special shops for bigger and smaller than average size-my friend takes size 9 shoes and has to shop at  one

Just watching QVC.....a pair of pants. They reckon a petite length is 28"   They have no uckin idea. Which, incedentally, I have mentioned to them previously

I know someone who shops a lot on QC and says most clothes are modelled on very tall models so deceptive -28 is about petite sprooty

Tell me about it Wozzer........I have made the channel aware of it, believe me

yes the person I know complains because she is about 5ft 2 so the clothes arrive too long or don't look as you think they would

Yes,  so me, and people like me suffer

fiems cannot cater for sizes that are not going to sell...like Ros said a lot of online stores cater for small sizes and extra shoes, leg sizes. Honestly, years ago they never made petite sizes and jeans, trousers etc had to be taken up...

I'm sorry, but my inside leg is 23/23 and a half. I can't help it, and it pisses me off when I have to buy pants that are too long and then even have to pay to have them taken up.

Same as today. I've paid for a shirt to be taken up in the sleeves ÂĢ7.50 at that, and it's totally spoiled the look of it as it did with a raincoat I had the sleeves taken up on not so long ago.

no one is saying that it's your fault, but a firm can't make every size in a leg fitting that isn't going to sell Pam, have you tried shopping online for specialist sizes?

I really can't help my height.....you know

we know that, but firms can't make job lots of odd sizes to lose money Pam. I know it's difficult for you, but if a firm is to survive it's got make products that sell and not odd sizes that sit on shelves. It's just the way it is I'm afraid.

So,  but why don't these firms get out there and find out what they need to cater for. They think we're all six foot tall models and we're not

you're not getting it Pam, it is not financially viable for firms to do this as they would be left with heaps of stock. They group sizes because these clothes are made in bulk.

But as Ros says ...there are shops that cater for unusual sizes ...why not google clothes for people of short stature
