I was nearly mown down not so long ago (in years) by a motorcyclist on the pavement as I went round a corner

I don't know how I did it, but somehow I managed to hear the engine and dodge out of the way, leaving the rider to carry on his merry way down the street (still on the pavement) and if I'd managed to get a look at his plate he would've been toast!

Yes ...I was well down from the lights ...but never stood a chance cos the motorcyclist came round on a red light

exactly, glasses or none it would have made not a jot of difference. Nowadays claimanything.com would have sorted you out  Sometimes I hate these firms for claiming for petty things, but if you can't afford a lawyer and have good cause everyone should use them  The garage company put me in touch with a firm, they charged me minimal and lump sum of the charges was paid by her insurance that also happened to be mine

yes when you think about, probably on par or more than my 7 grand in terms of years. Still, I really think it's a pittance if you suffer for years after and I have had 14 years of constant pain.  My own insurance company fighting my own insurance company which cost many thousands, could have easily paid me a fair settlement and cost many thousands less

I'm not a greedy person Pam, their specialist ruled out everything the surgeon said about my ankle and he was right and their specialist a proven liar  because everything he said has been proven to have been totally inaccurate, even my own GP said that last year.
