Oh sorry , didn’t you know .....he tipped out of bed ...on his head ....trying to pick something ...probably imaginary ...off floor ...twice ....he’s got one hell of a bump ...but they scanned him and he’s not done any damage ...thankfully . Trouble is his temp,keeps spiking ...especially at night ....and then he gets confused

Yes, but as my daughter says , when they are confused they can try to climb over themWe threatened to put a big notice at the bottom of his bed if he doesn’t behave

Not at the moment ....but after we had bathed him today my daughter lowered his bed right down

it's a conundrum Baz, I have seen enough in care homes and know that care and patience is given at all times...staff are not superhuman and accidents happen unfortunately

Exactly  They can’t have eyes in the back of their head ....we don’t blame them for it .....just keeping our fingers crossed that his temp will stop spiking

Yes ....they’ve put him on stronger ones now ...intravenously ....

Same with us Baz, we've never blamed staff for my brothers falls, they work damned hard for little and I've seen nothing but patience and kindness ...but three staff and one nurse doesn't leave them in  full control 24/7 of 14 residents all with some forms of alzheimer's or dementia
