we have a walk in centre in the next town that closes at 4, the main one in Whitehaven isn't a walk in centre now and you have to phone and they decide if you need a doctor and them#n give you an appointment but it's 35 minutes away.
Shocking....the north are the poor cousins.....I'm sure of it

I even tried a surgery that has just merged with us.....they can't get me in until Thursday

I called the merged surgery this morning to ask if I could be seen any earlier than Thursday. I was told no, and they advised me to call 111 to see if they could get me in any earlier.
Two and a bit minutes later....on a mobile from work to be told they're busy and would get to me when they could

No, well I phoned earlier and got booked in for that one, but phoned again later to say that I didn't think I would be able to make it to Thursday and could I be seen earlier.......
