didn't celebrate Halloween  went from birthday to Bonfire night

we had a family bonfire night, we had a massive back garden and Dad always cleared a spot to make a bonfire.  My brother collected rubbish for weeks, I'm suprised the road didn't go up in smoke

We used to make one in the junction of the back lane   That's when we used to go round the doors asking everyone for their old wood and stuff to burn

Hey Pam....you know you were talking about size of glasses of wine the other day ....well I had a “small” glass today ...it was huge

See what I mean......did they charge you for a large glass while giving you a 'small' one

No, they only charged me for a small glass ...but it was at least 125 .....I managed to force it down though

there was a lot of wine food was gorgeous

Yes....on both counts

we were allowed to watch the communal one when I got older Ros

All parents were there and everybody baked /made/bought something to give out  it was just a way of life at the time -all ages -the den thing was when I was old enough to play out  - which we did all the time -wouldn't do it now
