I nearly phoned you when I was putting tv up / on ....guy in shop sold us some cable and a set up disc ...I was too fed up to argue at the time ...turns out we didn't need them ...luckily I never took them out the packet ...so they are going back tomorrow 
Turns out all I needed to do was simply plug the sky cable in ...once I'd found the right socket ...and off it went !!

I've never needed set up discs or cables...I have HDMI cables for extra's like Xbox and the like,but for sky and tv you just plug sky in and you should be off

Yep .....mind you , don't think the TV itself is actually set up properly....but it works that's all I care about

Exactly I'll perhaps ask my son to look at it next time he is up....will be handy to have the free view set up , just in case ....and sound control doesn't work on Sky remote ...so have to have two remotes ...but apart from that ....

Well I ordered it through Tesco ...couldn't do click and collect cos I think it's through another company ...so just have to wait until tomorrow to find out ...
