great keepsake  my cousin suprised me the other week...she gave me one of my grandma's vases....but, I know what she kept, so  still it's nice to have and I remember it being on her hall table, she died in 1970 

Only thing I have of my mum is a signet ring and a brooch ....sister had everything else 

got more of dads stuff- think my sister had most of mums

Yes , I had all my dad's musical instruments ....son had saxaphone ...GD having violin ...I've still got clarinet 

 aww he was musical

I've just had a gold chain, earrings and my mums watch out this week...dunno why, they are sat next to me on my desk ..all her other jewelry was shared between her granddaughters ..I let them take what they wanted to keep.

It's raining here now  I went to Dolly's to see Owen and had coffee with them, then I just pottered and nothing much to show for it at the end

That's ok ....Well they did say by the the 5th ....so technically they aren't late yet ...but I ordered it a couple of weeks ago so I hoped it would be there by today

Yes  It was the main bit though ...but luckily I had sent him some books too so at least he had something to open
