sleeping, I managed to get him to waken for his lunch and then he went back to sleep again...I stayed just over an hour and a quarter, one of the other guys wife was there and she's really nice so at least we had each other to chat to. 

Awww  Has the doctor given you any sort of prognosis Dame ?

nope Baz, just the third stage..but considering his young age they are astounded he's lasted so long..apparently the younger you are the more quickly it's likely to progress  and it's been about 11 years since diagnosis, but two years of onj off tests before that.

 Yes , my mum was only a few years ....although there were no real diagnostic tests ...and I think it was initially put down as a symptom of the menopause ....

three guys about his age and he knew well started around the same time he did and none of them got to four years, so...

 

He does suit his beard and mustache though  He was getting annoyed ( and that's being kind) at the carers shaving him and for their safety and to stop him getting upset we told them to stop shaving him, so now he has neatly trimmed beard and tache

must admit we once had it 112 in the Canaries and it was relentless, the air con and fans just didn't touch it.  

 90 was higher enough for me !!!

Awww   My mum was about 3/ 4 years from the time I really noticed it ....

I was a bit like that when I was in having my op.....it's like, stop taking my temperature, stop sticking needles in me, stop taking my blood pressure  

 

I discharged myself a couple of days early. I couldn't stand it!
