Yes about 13 years and apparently the younger you get it the quicker your decline, they are astounded at the care home how long he's had it and to be honest up until about 18 months ago we could carry a conversation with him and he would chat back and then forget what we talked about

Yes My mums was about 7 years from start to finish ...and only about 2 years of rapid decline
