I guess my training with the probation service so far, that I've had kicked in there. I've got a cert in dealing with vunrerable adults)

Basically, someone knocked on my door at 4.50 this morning.....I mightn't have heard it but my bedroom door was open due to the heat.

 

Scrabbling for my DG and wondering what the eff was going on......I wandered d/stairs panicking as to whether to open the door. I plucked up the courage to and there was someone sitting on my doorstep and rising as I opened the door. 

 

He said he was waiting on his neighbours.....I explained he needed to go wait somewhere else.  I don't know whether he'd been on an all night bender or had mental health probs 

Oh heck .....did you ask your neighbours later  if they knew him ?  

Haven't seen then today/night to ask

you seriously need to think about the training you were given then. Sorry Pam, if I could not see who it was at 4.50 no way would I have opened that door. I would have switched the TV on loud to make it appear there was more than one person in the house.

That, along with other crap that's going on at work, and me tryna submit an application for my job with HMPPS rather than with an agency
