Dolly's Saturday morning.....
Yesterday she was on the LP stall in the precinct in Workington. She was early and popped into M&S with her big labour rosette on her lapel, Crossing the car park she was stopped by a conservative canvasser in his big blue Tory rosette and he walked up to her, put his face straight up to hers and said 'how are you doing this fine morning Corbynista'
She said she was fine and he made another snide remark...well, that set her off. She rarely loses her temper and she's normally quite calm and controlled when confronted. She mentioned the state of Health care in Cumbria and he should be ashamed to be canvassing with the Tory record of cuts in the north west. He replied his wife was a nurse and he understood that cuts had to be made...so it ended in a slanging match with Dolly saying that it was ok to give 73 billion in tax cuts to the rich and massive cuts to NHS,schools etc, he then called her stupid...well, red rag to a bull.
A 60 odd year old women with a very plummy voice, strutting across M&S car park doing the goose step, Hitler salute, one finger across her top lip and shouting Strong and Stable in a German accent....I had tears rolling down my face when she explained it to me 
Honestly, I will have to bail her out at some point
