Yes , I used to live not far from Aldershot etc.....Mind you , it was great getting a free view of the Red Arrows

I once stayed at the Penta Hotel at Heathrow...marvellous watching concorde land and take off. Our bedroom window overlooked the runway, triple glazing about two feet thick and you couldn't hear a thing I was sat with my voddie and orange amazed at the amount that landed and took off within minutes

fabulous Baz...and the soundproofing is brilliant, I hate flying but I was astounded at the amount of planes and I know Manchester is busy but it's not a patch on Heathrow.

we always stayed overnight at airport hotels Baz, it was cheaper than parking the car up for two weeks... they look after the car and it's steps away from the entrance to the airport
