Very nice Any news on the delivery date ?

Not yet   What's worrying me more is how I get the old one out the door and into the garage until I can get the council to come and take it

Didn't you arrange for sofa company to take it away

Often they won't now Baz, coz the council charge them so much to dispose of them

They usually will for a small fee

Jeez, they are sooo flipping unhelpful down here! Our recycling centres have recycled the nazis, you have to have licences in triplicate to be able to take a sheet of paper to the dump!

No company will take beds, sofas or any soft furnishings, and if you want to take them to the tip you have to get paperwork with a designated dumping time ... and woe betide you if you even think about turning up in a white van!!

well being blown along Silloth front was invigorating, stopped at this house and very polite lady was in the garden. I asked if she would like a leaflet expecting a no, she was delightful and said yes she was interested in reading it and then pointed out to sea and said that cloud is carrying a heavy shower, so try and find shelter on your way...5 minutes later I was chucking soaked

Sorry , I meant the delivery people from say Currys etc.

Baz

Won't quote you all but ... we have a real flytipping problem down here, coz our councils won't pick up, and our recycling centres will not allow you to dump for free.

A country road that I cycle regularly, which backs onto a glorious wood is now six foot high with mattresses, fridges and rubbish. The wood belongs to one of the colleges ... and they don't care, the council doesn't care, so nothing will happen .. ever

You all need to get together and tackle the council

But what happens if it's something you didn't buy from Curry's

It doesn't matter where you got it from ...they take away the old stuff when they deliver the new

Ohhhh, you are soooo lucky ... tho we have bought a couple of things from ao, and they always take the old stuff. I would thoroughly recommend them
