Ferry Inn on the Norfolk Broads, I have a picture taken behind the bar in the pub under a 17 century door and I bumped a boat here trying to berth 

 

 

Looks lovely ...but wonder how it fared in the weather this year  

 

 

I think the broads did ok Baz...I love it...I'm torn with going back or abroad to be honest, its very expensive though and the weather ..well, and the weather. The pub is in Horning

I know Ros...but the Broads are fantastic...its Tenerife or the Broads, its just the flying thing

Hate, hate, hate planes ...love trains and I get seasick on boats 

i hate flying but hope to overcome it this year - some cheap deals around - book flight then get cheap hotel - cheaper than going to London

yep navy with 2 daisies strategically on the back - my friend had the same - we weren't that old TBH

I'm not keen on boats ...but can do them if needed ....but never had any fear of flying ....unlike my DIL who is terrified ....which is why they do France etc. ...cos they can go Eurotunnel and drive

can you remember culotte's  all in one thingy shorts...after a few lagers, what a flipping rush and pain to get out of quick
