Good My day was ok thanks ....got my fuschias planted , popped out to Marks ....and supervised Mr Bs gardening

We all worked out what we owed plus drinks as it wasn't fair on others due to the size of the party we had. (Any other time we just split it) we also have a tip but at the end we found out we were £8 short and that was with the tips 

Turns out there was a fifty quid surcharge already on the bill which we had no knowledge of and like I say everyone tipped. Someone came back with £15 as they paid on their cards and it was decided Jo and Neil could have it for the taxi

Got painter coming to give us a quote at 10 tomorrow  I'm guessing I will need the smelling salts for Mr B .....and a hard hat for me

I had potato skins s a starter with garlic sauce in one pot and sweet chilli in the other, then I had crispy duck with mashed potato with a pint of lager. (Phil had already bought me a half when we went in) 

£50 surcharge  I don't think I've ever paid a surcharge in a restaurant

Exactly!  we didn't know about the charge but as Tonia said.....it will have been in the small print somewhere
