I've been listening to some old Paul Temple programmes ....takes me way back to my childhood

Can't remember what we listened to last time in her work room, Mists of Avalon is in the back of my mind, I'm probably wrong though

Francis Durbridge wrote the series  

soorry heard of Francis Durbridge but not Paul Temple

They were mostly all he wrote I think ....huge number of books 

wasn't Simon Temple - The Saint???

Yes, but he's different This was a series of books and programmes written in the 40s ....and dramatised in the 50s  and 60s

yes going on a course on 10th April - ÂĢ85 I was traveling at 51 mph so got a fine for either 1 mph over  or 11 mph over depending if the speed limit was 40 mph or 50 mph

don't think they would have done you for one mile over Ros, sorry you were eleven  and just made it for the course 

I know ba*****s for 1 MPH - must check - but the road is busy   -on way to A55 - must be tons of us

was he a tall slim guy that played a detective ? a white suit is stuck in my head 

Don't know ...only ever listened to it on the radio  But he was a writer , turned private eye who worked with his wife Steve

I don't think I ever watched it, but the more I thought about it the more it rang a bell...think it must have been something my dad would watch 

I like listening to the radio programmes cos the signature tune triggers something in my subconscious ....gives me a warm fuzzy feeling v
