My garden at lunchtime  and why they had to put it on the middle of the garden was anyone's guess

me trying to get to my daughters this afternoon and as you can see there was loads of room to place the skip, it didn't have to go in the centre of my front lawn  I keep waiting for Putin to roll up in a Russian tank...it's like a battlefield out here 

Good grief Dame ...what a mess ! But it will be worth it in the end ...I hope

Round here anyone who has a skip and doesn't have space on their property needs a license from the local council. Which the contractor has to pay for. So perhaps that could be why they put it on your grass

you sound like my echo Moonie  My garden was the only one they placed the skip on...all the others were on the bit of grass/pavement area

I know Moonie...dirty bloody boot marks on my hall carpet and black hand prints on my loft door didn't help my mood either...I'll be fine and hopefully will go out tomorrow even if its to my daughters just to get away from the noise
