spoke to her this morning and passed some info on to her from a facebook friend who kindly sent me a rather long message on the subject   I'm going to send it onto her in an email and then she's got all the stuff..apparently all the information I passed on hasn't either been passed onto her from her doctors or she's never heard of it...whether she acts on any of it I have no idea

yes and yes  all I can do is pass the info on, it's up to her if she wants to keep track of her illness

Yep  You can get the monitors in Boots ....not very expensive ....you can get accurate ones for about £25

well she is exempt from charges, so she should be able to get them on prescription... must say, her surgery seems to be particularly crap. Ours have clinics for diabetes, asthma and all other major illnesses with designated medical staff for those clinics.

 Same here Dame ....in fact I am coming to believe that I'm really lucky with my doctors ...it's not always easy to get an appointment , but they will fit you in if they can ....and they have emergency appointments ....where you just sit and wait ...

they've stopped that here now, it's not going down well at all  but, that's the only complaint I have. We can do everything online form getting repeat prescriptions to making appointments, they are very up to date. We also have on doctor for minor surgery too

me either...we have heaps of nurses in ours...any one of them can take a blood test or a simple dip test

 I use a stylus .....but it's in my left hand ....think it's probably from gripping the iPad ...

no, I turned them down Baz, I have my brother to visit...just too much of a rush and the weather is bad. I managed to get there and back dry, I was very lucky ducking showers
