Yes, that's where I normally put mine 
....but my head is too sore at the moment , so I put them on the other end of the sofa ...l.decided to shift position and nearly crushed them

I'd forgotten about that I need mine for the computer and normally leave them on, but watching tv or on the phone I automatically stick them on my head. Luckily mine are varifocals, I've seen Dolly with two pair on her head and looking for them
