Good morning Cribsters

Just popping in to say 'hi'

It's been a while, hasn't it?

Dameeeeeeeeeeeee 'snoooooooooogs'

Re your reference to Linux. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop which I purchased in  or around 2008. It had Vista OS on it. Possibly the worst ever OS from MS

Anyway, after several years I had it taken off and had one of the free Linux OS put on as well as having the original HDD removed and an SSD installed. Best thing I ever did

Ok the Linus was not as comprehensive as MS but it worked for me. I now have Linux Mint on it. That has lots many more features. It's free. It cost me ÂĢ20 but that was because the guy who looks after my laptop fitted the SSD, installed Mint and did all the updates. I am not that technical, as you all know

Have a great day me lovelies and I will visit again soon

Moonie

Well hello Moonie *snogssssssssssssssssssssssss*

Hope you're well

I know you use Linux Moonie and I know it's much improved from when I tried it on an old computer. I'm happy with Windows 7, but if I need a new tower I am going to struggle to get Windows 7 on it and then I would probably go to Linux, especially now they have incorporated google extensions  I hate the app based OS systems, if I wanted them I would use my tablet...the options are getting extremely smaller

hope to see you soon

Oh no  Bad ???

Not great, twisted spine, arthritis and three trapped nerves, appointment made for the neurologist..bloody Dr M**** was matter of fact, more or less told him he'd have to live with it and it would continue to get worse  I refuse point blank to go to him, he's an arse...I hope the neurologist can give him a better diagnosis than he got at our surgery.  Peter said he would never go back to him neither, I could have told him before he went

Hope so Baz, it's devastating for him...he's only young and likes to keep fit, gym, weights etc. He rarely drinks, doesn't smoke and he's very diet conscious....I think he was pretty down when he got back and it didn't help with the obnoxious GP more or less telling him it's tough

Well hopefully the neurologist will be better Dame ...if he gets the nerves freed it will be much better for him .....although it will mean him not  lifting or driving for about 6/8 weeks.....

I'm sure they will Baz, the GP did say that...just don't mention the 6/8 weeks to Lynds so she doesn't slip up with it to Peter...he'll take it better coming from the neurologist  and it is effecting him in different ways Baz  he's got loads of pain in parts you wouldn't expect, if you get my drift...he's not a happy bunny

Did you see your brother ?

not today Baz, I only go three times a week now with it being out of town. His wife was there and it was one of his sleepy days, I was there yesterday and he was awake the whole time I was in. He's on antibiotics for a water infection so he was behaving a bit erratically on Saturday... He didn't want to get up and threw a pillow at one of the girls asking him to get out of bed...he laughed about it
