I had a nice time thanks Kimota and it's been pretty mild here too 

Bloody cold here this morning and only 1C at the moment.

same here 0 degrees and had freezing fog

It was very good and the rail travel wasn't too bad despite the ongoing strikes on Southern Rail.

Feeling better for going through and checking on him myself Baz, I was in a flap when Karen phoned...I feel so sorry for her too, she's enough on her plate with her own mum and then having this today... she spent most of her afternoon in the hospital and then back to the care home to see her own mum who had fell yesterday and made a right mess of her face.

Feeling better for going through and checking on him myself Baz, I was in a flap when Karen phoned...I feel so sorry for her too, she's enough on her plate with her own mum and then having this today... she spent most of her afternoon in the hospital and then back to the care home to see her own mum who had fell yesterday and made a right mess of her face. 

 

Hows your day been 

Awww That's the trouble when you are elderly and fall ,  you bruise so easily .....although it often looks worse than it is

Karen's mum deteriorated pretty quickly, she's 73 and went in hospital with a chest infection last year...within weeks she had developed vascular dementia  Karen is Allen's step son's wife, so of course she was classed his nearest next of kin at the time they were taking him to hospital so off she trotted bless her.

we are...but which dodo forgot to leave the phone numbers on the wing, (hint) she's away in Tenerife  So, Karen being there and being his daughter in law got the job of riding in the ambulance..luckily, Karen remembered when she got to the hospital she had my home phone number still on her mobile from months ago and rang me.
