Had my candles on the other night when the kitchen strip light went. So I know where they are, now 

Lol...mine are handy too ...got large one in lounge , and one in dining room and one in kitchen ....plus a wind up torch Oh and a torch on my phone  

I've got a 'big' wind up torch that's hard to wind    but I had a smaller one that broke before Christmas

I have t-lights in holders...but torches handy 

As long as the gas doesn't get turned off I will be able to light the candles if needed

me too...I wouldn't have an electric hob

I wouldn't have gas ...it scares me  

Leccy's sposed to be 'cleaner' too. I don't know if that's right. It's ages ago since we had leccy cookers

Leccy's sposed to be 'cleaner' too. I don't know if that's right. It's ages ago since we had leccy cookers

I was thinking of the oven tbh.  Apparently the gas jets make food 'spit' and that's why you have to clean gas ovens a bit more

oh ok, I've had both and they are equally a pain to clean  I can gauge gas loads better...I hate my daughters leccy ovens and hob...I kick it every Saturday
