And like I said last year....some things you can get can be used waaaaay after the date that's on the carton

it's wrong Ros, I was buying carrot batons today and if I hadn't checked the date some were best by today, looked at another lot it was tomorrows date until I found Sunday's date...carrots go horrible and soggy when they aren't fresh. If I had ordered online I would have got tomorrow's date

I think I must be lucky with the packers at our local shop ....and they say on line what time scale you can expect on items
