honestly, I could kick myself... and stuff I really need, I'll pop in on Saturday and swear and moan at the crowds...ffs, shops are closed one day and people are stocking up for a hurricane

just my thoughts, but taking people out for lunch whilst on a temporary contract seems a bit extravagant to me

I know, but they're great people and I hadn't bought anything for any of them, although I was planning on taking some stuff in after Chrimbo. And that said peeps get sick of stuffing their faces with rubbish over xmas, so I thought.....

And besides....it's only a bar meal. Not a slap up restaurant night time meal thingy

dunno, nibbles and chocolates never go wrong and I'm sure they all understand your situation and I certainly wouldn't accept a meal off someone on a temp contract however kind the gesture was...mind, I overthink things and think ahead all the time  so, my first thoughts would be, I can't accept this, she might be back at the jobcentre in a few weeks

Well I guess as long as you can afford it ...and are debt free ...it will be a nice gesture

I know someone who doesn't mind covering reception (actually that was mentioned the other day) until the thing with Jen happened). So I'm thinking this would prolly be the best time to do this.
