A bit busier today. We had a new starter, who was the same as me, not on the system yet 
so not much for her to do. I've been showing her the ropes of my job while Lindsay shows me the next part of a job I've completed so our new starter can man the phones while I do this

I know....I can't explain what it's like..you know those 80's American movies where something strange is happening, it gives me that kinda feeling. It's very nice, rooms are lovely and spacious, menu is cracking...but, it's all superficial, nothing else below the show

well, three were sitting in the kitchen/lounge area chatting when I went down at 11.30 and told them to get him up
I wouldn't like to think they are drugging them to keep them in bed now he's been moved up to nursing care (which he doesn't need yet) I'm fuming, phoned sis in law and she's worried about it too...she's going to ask if he's being drugged tomorrow, he wasn't before
Awww I doubt they are drugging him .... ....but it's worth asking

he's never slept this late Baz and I woke him four times this morning and he kept falling back to sleep and his eyes were glassy, I have never seen him like this before

It might just be the disease progression Dame ....my mum slept a lot in the later stages ....plus the move will have taken it out of him

it's the last week there's a drastic change in his sleeping pattern and I sat 45 minutes while staff were walking passed and never asked if he needed anything, or was he even awake

It will take a while your him...and you ...to get used to a new place ....especially as you really liked the other one ...

there's just a nagging doubt and his wife is the same and it's very unsettling. we both realise it could be just us, because we knew he was in the hands of very good friends when he was there... but, all the show and fanciness of the new place can not and will not replace the love and care he had down the road. Julie was on duty when he left and she was sobbing in the lounge because she had had to pack his clothes,..I can't see the same closeness ever happening at this place

I know, it must be hard. You both need to make your mouth go though if ever the situation warrants it

I did today...I find it unacceptable he was put in bed at 8pm and still in bed at 11.30 am...he can walk, he's not disabled...his mind's been robbed but his body still works...my head will explode if I go in next week and he's still in bed
