hope Trump doesn't win tonight. More generally, despite the inevitable draw of the drama and showbiz razzmatazz, I don't think we should look to the USA Democrat establishment for inspiration for the UK. The USA Presidential election is so fascinating and, sadly, dangerous. But the USA way of 'doing politics' remains so damaged by the role of big money.

A Nevada judge shut down a lawsuit from Donald Trump’s presidential campaign on Tuesday after officials requested the personal information of Las Vegas poll workers.

"Nothing happened that wasn't supposed to happen," Mr Kulin told NBC News. "Voters who were in line by the scheduled closing time were allowed to vote."

See, there's always too much to take in to perspective in the USA elections for me    Yes, I know we can't influence it, but they can influence 'us and the rest of the world'

I nodded off waiting for Florida ....but was really surprised at Pennsylvania ....thought Clinton was going to just about hold that ...was totally shocked when I woke up .....but in the words of Annie ....* the sun will come out tomorrow * ..... and it's done and dusted now ....

yep, nowt we can do about it and sadly neither can the Americans..Clinton lost votes to the greens and Indy..Bernie Saunders would have walked it, more fool the Dems for conspiring against him..... They would have been sitting pretty today with the President and Upper house, she had far too much baggage although most of it untrue

Not sure about Sanders ...pundits seem to think he would have been too far to the left for majority of Americans ....but I tend to think Clinton lost it , rather than Trump winning it ....if you know what I mean .

do you know something Baz...I am sick of the media saying hard left, Saunders and Corbyn are not hard left. They are socialist, not marxists, not communists or any other ist. If people would look at their policies there is nothing hard left about them... Saunders was going to advise Clinton on policies, so even she knew people were crying out for something different. I think people voted green because they were leaning more to what Saunders was putting forward, the Democrats will have to like it and lump and so will the citizens of America unfortunately.
