Hi dammeee bestie bliddy cold today  sprooty bazzy

awful ltrain journey from liverpool -lack of information and direction - fuming

just about  admitted there was a train fault at Hooton - but they just stopped the service and we all had to pile off - what  annoyed me was the lack of direction by BR staff - they were useless-then we had  a wait of 50 minutes - when we arrived at chester - a massive over full train met a massive crowd on the plat form -there had been no trains either way for an hour -so two massive crowds merged-not a BR person in sight -it was awful -I am going to complain -massive health and safety issues

Train journey

I love train journeys, even when I'm delayed

You wouldn't have liked this one

no -it was awful- we were just chucked off the train  saying service discontinued and it returned to Liverpool - luckily driven to C or else we would have had another 50 minute wait for a connection

aww Ros, you have my sympathy

unfortunately this is normal for us, often get to Preston coming north and have to wait for buses to Carlisle and then have to wait for transfers to west cumbria...infrastructure in Cumbria is appalling

Aren't BR having industrial action at the minute?   If not,  that bears out what has been well known for a long time now....service is shite!

you need to complain to the rail service you were travelling with Ros...unlike Dolly who complained to Virgin and hadn't realised she had also put a complaint in at Carlisle and she didn't know she booked had with Trans Pennine....she ended up with a full refund off both companies , Virgin had no clue what she was on about but paid up through twitter anyway

it's not just BR.....all companies are supposed to have representatives at stations, but while France, Germany, China and Belgian put their profits into their railways and their pensions nothing will change  How can you privatise everything in sight, it's like selling a cow and paying twenty fold back for a pint of milk....

it's awful Ros, I am not exaggerating ..Dolly's son is here on a flying visit. Couldn't travel on Sunday, no public transport here from Carlisle (I would have gone and picked him up) He wanted to travel from here Friday morning, no transport early enough to get him to Carlisle in time for his train..Dolly's had to book an overnight stay in Carlisle for both of them to spend as much time as poss.

yep Ros and it's normal...now the tories have come up with the bright idea of one major hospital at Carlisle...so you could be travelling 70/80 mile in critical condition. I'm like wtf are people thinking about  and roads are constantly blocked here through winter as we haven't any motorways in west cumbria and very little stretches of dual carriageways, it's all b roads
