But you've got the choice.  I have to get up at the time I do 

But we've all been thereSprout .....I used to have a nearly two hour journey to work ....and two different buses....

I'm not saying you haven't.   I'm just saying that now you still have the choice, as maybe I will in later life too

you get far more sleep than I do and I still get up...we've all worked for years Pam and had kids, been up all night when they have been teething, fevered or unwell and gone to work with no sleep...it happens. 

and me-often been awake until about 4 and gone to work-same now

I'm not saying It doesn't happen   I'm just saying that this is what's it's like now., and it may be the same when I get older, who knows?

I've never driven Ros ...so never known any different ....lalways had to use public transport ....and used to work in London when I was younger ....so bus , train, tube , walk

Actually, I'm awake early some mornings too.   I sometimes find myself tossing and turning in the early hours.

yes same here sprooty -better now used to be much worse with my old job
