they look like an oatmeal and blue

Yes , they are And the material is nice feeling .....we had to order 4 packs of 167x228 cos of the size of the two windows in the lounge .....we have the curtains  wall to wall ....315cms in total ......so we put 2x167 each side ....if you know what I mean

I've been thinking of stuff for my 'C' list so when I tell my family right!  Time's up! I want your lists! I have something to fire back at them with

I've not given it a thought

Seriously, I want all my stuff in and done well in advance this year, so I can go and get wrapping without thinking a second thought about it

I mostly give money anyway...and I think this year I'll do the same for Lynds and family and they can put it away towards spending money for the holidays...the kids get enough anyway

Yes, it's daft !! We also have to take them up ! The only way to get a proper fit was to get made to measure ....but that would have cost nearly ÂĢ2k .... and there ain't NO way I'm paying that !!

most windows are a standard size Pam, that's why you get different drop sizes.. 72 drop fits my pole perfectly

Our lounge is the only one that is a problem .....drop wise is a problem cos of the beams ....and the fact we have them floor to ceiling and wAll to wall ..l

See, mine don't, sitting room are 70 drop (made to measure) any more and they'd cover the radiator, as they are partly (but a lot partly) doing now

Dining room aren't standard either

the only time I have ever had a problem was older houses...the last three have been standard size

All our other windows are standard ....but some reason the lounge ones aren't .....

why not get tie backs, that will lift them a couple of inches

Cos I close them at night   and yes, I know, I could still use tie backs but I'm guessing I won't be able to get the same material now

if mine were an inch or two out, I would lower or heighten the pole to accommodate, cheaper than having to pay for alterations

We can't cos of the beams ....and the fact that window is set back ...one is bay ....so not much room between the ceiling and lintel ....if that makes sense
