Yes ....TBH we tried to persuade him to think about sheltered housing ages ago ....as did his former partner ......he has no-one up there to keep an eye on him ....no friends ...and we ( and other relatives) are a couple of hours away......but he wouldn't hear of it ....sad thing is that if he had a) he might not have got to this state , and b) he might have actually stayed independant a bit longer ....like his ex partner
