oh no...mind eggs can lay dormant for months and heat hatches them out....don't ask how I know, I haven't had any cats  my brain is full of useless sh*t

Yes ....but having cat fleas from our own cat was one thing ( and bad enough ) , but someone else's .....

it was quite a wide staircase too...I had plenty of room to stagger from side to side  I remember it so well, it's etched in my mind because there was a boxed in leccy box in a alcove to the side of it. One day Allan opened it and he was holding my hand and threw a kitchen knife at it, we blew the electrics...my mother was gonna kill him

I wouldn't want my own cat fleas...and you wonder why I won't have pets

But not all pets have fleas

Mostly they do , but you have to keep on top of them

Pam most pets can get fleas at some point, my brother bred hunting dogs and my dad always had dogs and it didn't matter how careful they were we have had to sort out one of the dogs at some point...luckily they never managed to spread in the house.

Granted, but you can minimise the risk

Older brothers eh?   I know all about that

did yours take the bedroom doors off by the hinges and rest them on the door frame and play pranks on your parents when they came home at the weekend, or place buckets of water over the doors...mine did

They played some tricks but none as bad as that as I remember

See, Phil is ten years older than me and I'm ashamed to say I don't quite know how much older Malc is   It's either 7 or 8 years I think (He's been out the country for so long).   I was just put on this earth to wind them up in my early years I think.    When I come to think, I lead them a merry dance at times

to be honest, we didn't have much of a relationship until later years when we were both married. He was always allowed out long before I was and we only interacted when he came in early. We always got along, just we were like ships passing most times.

Oh, I often wanted a sister and had to make do with two older cousins but it wasn't the same
