Maybe it's cos the boots made your feet hot ...so they swelled and became too tight ?

no Baz, it's just my bad ankle, the boots were fine,,,it's the damaged one that's swollen

Yes, but maybe if they got tight through too much walking the pressure has aggravated it ?

She had another scan on Sunday, I'm sure it was ok as she's been much better lately
