quack quack  Neurologist wants a dental x-ray and another mri scan... last one was clear, cat scan was clear and nowt wrong with her teeth...so

Oh heck .....that's the way it went for me......although never has mri  etc. ....just X-rays ..... Mine is playing up tonight , I think cos I have a sore mouth ...happens every now and then .....I'm just hoping it settles again !!

I'm a bit narked Baz to be honest, her GP made sure all these things had been done apart from the dental X-ray and her teeth are fine. neurologist wants to make sure there's no abscess, I think after 5 months she would have known it it was an abscess

Yes .....I don't actually know how they can SEE an inflamed nerve ....which is what it is ....they should just accept that if they've ruled out everything else it must be the trigeminal !!!

Exactly !! Today mine started in my lower gum  .....cos I stuck a piece of sharp food in it yesterday .....and now it's all up my cheek bone  ..... as normal !!
