my friend Anita moved to Spain a few years ago with her Spanish husband after selling up their hotel here in town..

Looked what was in Malaga harbour today Pam...Anita posted it earlier. I think it's the largest in the world, I did see it's Sister ship in the very same harbour a few years ago...think that was Oasis of the Seas ?

It is. It's just had it's maiden trip to Holland and peeps were complaining that it was still a building site. There's still loads more to do, but the owners and powers that be said they got a cut price 'shakedown' cruise

don't think the locals are happy to have them berthed in the harbour... I remember seeing the sister one and thought it ruined the harbour then... Anita and Minola aren't happy . Nothing would attract me to get on that  stuck on a ship with 6/7 thousand people would be my worst nightmare

Apparently The're not happy in Venice either. Cruise ships spewing their smoke out over centuries old buildings and destroying them

I like relaxing holidays Baz and the less crowds the better....I like quiet harbour side restaurants and walks in the morning..I'd chuck myself over stuck on that

I don't blame them Pam and to be honest there is nothing glamorous about them ..Malaga certainly doesn't need them in port

Yeah, if I ever went on a cruise, that would be the last thing I'd choose.  On my webcams I watch in Malta there's some really nice small cruising ships that visit with just a few decks that would suit me down to the ground

Anita Just sailed past here too we were watching from the terrace, so if we had only wanted to see her we didn't have to go far haha.

I agree - Malaga always beautiful, but not sure about Harmony of the Seas (she has just sailed past El Morche on her way to Barcelona!)

Anita Just sailed past here too we were watching from the terrace, so if we had only wanted to see her we didn't have to go far haha.

I wasn't complaining Sprout ....I was quite happy reading or swimming in the pool As long as he surfaced long enough to go and get a meal ....

I used to be quite happy by the pool and I love swimming, so.... nowadays it would have to be a private pool with a ucking high fence

That's one of the best things about a villa holiday ....having your own pool ....no need to hold your stomach in
