I won't be around tomorrow..I have the boys from teatime until sometime on Wednesday...I wish the other nan would give me times  She said I had to drop them of Wednesday and she would have them through the day...what time I have no clue

Hospital phoned the other day...3 appointments they offered and every one of them at 9am..how the hell you're supposed to get to Penrith hospital at that time of the morning is ridiculous, it's a good 50 minutes drive on a good day...if you have no transport you're b*ggered

and it's the main road leading to the M6 from west Cumbria...I'll be stuck behind a convoy of bloody lorries 

this happened yesterday teatime on the beach...pleased I wasn't crabbing

I officially hate that road and Bassenthwaite lake seems to have had road works there for the last ten bloody years

the bombs probably German, they did bomb us and thought they were bombing Barrow, they seem to be as good as me with directions ...but we did have a army munitions depot just outside of town

Funnily enough, when the first Iraq war was going on about 11 o'clock at night there was a massive roaring sound on a clear night...went out on the back garden and I have never seen so many helicopters at once.....they were loading ammo onto ships out in the Solway....the Army denied any knowledge of helicopters being in the area  So that must have been the night most of the town lost their marbles and we all saw at least 40 of them

I knew it was true anyway, my friends husband worked there and was organising and transporting them  She was a happy camper, he got danger money
