Pam, this wasn't an easy decision, the child's safety was first and foremost. We're all sad it ended the way it did, I believe the zoo and no other option and made the right call to be honest.

There's a webcam in Italy that I look at, there's no way the polar bears can get out of that environment or that anyone can get in, bar the handlers

the one in Tenerife does have large glass window around the tiger enclosure...I don;t think around the baboon area though

I've had a lovely day thanks...although my neck , chest and top of my head is a wee bit warm it was lovely though and a nice surprise this morning with Rene coming through with her son...we sat and had coffee on Dolly's patio for two hours and then I brought the car back and walked back to Dolly's and had three glasses of wine all day I was extremely good How was your day Baz?
