I see your point, but this was a gorilla.  I think they have a more nurturing temperament, and having said that, we can't really predict what they're gonna do I guess.  Maybe it was the best outcome under the circs, even though it's awful 

Pam, this wasn't an easy decision, the child's safety was first and foremost. We're all sad it ended the way it did, I believe the zoo and no other option and made the right call to be honest.

I can't see why they can't put up 10 foot high strengthened glass around all enclosures...that would make it nearly impossible for those suicide idiots to breach the fences too  

   There's a webcam in Italy that I look at,  there's no way the polar bears can get out of that environment or that anyone can get in, bar the handlers

this was stuck in her throat Pam  I ran and snatched her from behind, grabbing her with both hands around the waist and knocked the wind out of her....she threw up the banana and more all over my living room  It was more luck than good first aid skills, I did learn it properly after that

I've had a lovely day thanks...although my neck , chest and top of my head is a wee bit warm  it was lovely though and a nice surprise this morning with Rene coming through with her son...we sat and had coffee on Dolly's patio for two hours and then I brought the car back and walked back to Dolly's and had three glasses of wine all day  I was extremely good  How was your day Baz?
