yes saw the 10-11  one

Ros, I honestly was stumped...I had no clue with that one, I eventually worked the 6/7 one out. This is really silly, no child should be put under that much stress, what happened to making learning fun, Rio's is panicking like mad

Having said that we had tests every week when I was at school ....

when I was in school we didn't do sentence clauses etc which they are now re-introducing and its not easy stuff and poor Rio no wonder he is worried if he has to  do  a test like the bit I saw

we did Baz, but ones we could at least understand... some of these are ridiculous  Max's class have stayed an hour a week extra to study for them, they are six years old

that is ridiculous - we don't do SATS here  - only Literacy numeracy tests and although not easy not nearly as difficult as the English SATS

he does have that one to do Ros and like you said it's really complicated for kids to get to grasps with. Saying that, I've forgotten load and I was stumped with brain freeze, funnily enough the education secretary couldn't answer the question put to him, he said it wasn't about him....I was gobsmacked, if adults are struggling how are kids supposed to get to grips with it so quickly

I'm watching a thing about calories and drink

shut it  Actually, I always factor food with drink when I have wine and try not to go over my daily cal allowance

Yes , me too ....but some of the supposedly healthy people on the programme ....a netball team....  were drinking the equivalent of 58 doughnuts a week

how much booze did that involve? I sometimes just drink vodka on a saturday nights and have really cut down on wine. Vodka is empty cals and a lot less than wine
