and mine Ros, I love a bottle of vino and a nice meal with friends...even Dolly and I have thoroughly nice afternoons out, even my children are getting to the point that's what they prefer

I think if it were people much younger I would decline anyway to be honest Pam, nowadays an intellectual conversation over a glass of wine is far more entertaining that dancing around a handbag

But that's the thing....I tried to decline many a time and they called me a party pooper and wanted to see me there

I think if you had nothing in common the best way to deal with it was just say so...there's no way I would go out with 30 year olds unless it was family.

agree -but some in work are OK-loads in late 40's

Even when I was younger....I wasn't really one for being out every night...the odd occasion, yes.....and when I think back, maybe that's been to my detriment
