Bowel cancer scope, now that I'm 55.  And given the trouble Phil has had, maybe they could say It runs in the family, although he escaped by the skin of his teeth (thank gawd)

And by what I can gather the procedure has changed since other peeps in my family had theirs

Oh heck ...not pleasant , but , given your family history , better to be safe than sorry

Yes , I didn't care how they did it as long as I knew nought about it Plus you have to be * cleared * out first ....which is bad enough on its own

According to my leaflet, you're awake and can get a pic of your 'insides' if you want to

Added to the fact they blow wind up your bits

I'm not looking forward to it, believe me but hopefully I'll be ok

I was reading up on them earlier this week. Only available in England it appears. Sometimes I wonder with my movements. Doesn't bear thinking about though.

think the worst thing I had was a d and c, they just perform them now without any anesthetic, I was like one of those cartoon cats...I just about shot into the hair and clung onto the ceiling my  fingernails

Without anaesthetic I had one when I lost our baby .....but it was done under a general !!
