When I was 20 me and a mate hitched down to Silloth with a ghetto blaster looking for a girl. Dark Side of the Moon in the Cumbrian lanes. Never found her and will never forget it- hitching off the M74. I think we arrived at midnight and got the train back from Carlisle the next day. Fiver each
you know when you have free time and wonder, should I arrange something for the weekend and then you're scared you won't want to do it when the time comes we call it 'in between a dither and a sh*te' and that's exactly how I feel about this weekend

I've hitched from Silloth on many occasion ..Stanwyx Park or the Lido was the place to go in my yoof and we always hitched with others I'm just a tad further south

it really is a nightmare Velvet, for a small town (about the same size of ours) we don't have a quarter of the traffic...Workington can be a mare though
It really is my pet hate driving around Motherwell weekdays, lots of sweary words and then I have to use the tom tom to find Hoochie still, after all this time I can never find my way around that flipping estate
