good for you, a lot of us jumped at the chance of a free upgrade thinking we could upgrade or reject when the time was up, this crafty update just automatically installs it  you have to uninstall the KB3035583 update otherwise you have got it whether you want it or not

have you tried Chrome OS Moonie, it's Linux based but with the apps?

I will, I've removed it...I'll run 7 with a different firewall and security  I still have XP on my other tower and it work perfectly and well locked down  I think they will start charging for 10 updates, it's the last one and they certainly need to keep the money rolling in...Microsoft and Apple don't do giveaways

7 is almost exactly the same with extra's Moonie  I have 7 Premium  Vista, 2000 and 8 were rubbish...the best one before XP was windows 98

they stopped supporting XP about 3 years ago Ros, but a good firewall and security and it will keep running and I am going to do that with 7 once they stop supporting it
