know it well....spent many a happy time there in me yoof...I used to spend 6 weeks of summer at my ex neighbours who lived in Ambleside about 4 miles down the road 

strangely enough, I found my friend on FB the other week and she's now a Muslim, not on any of her families friends lists ...weird 

Now don't get me wrong, loads of people change to Muslim and nothing about that is out of the ordinary and as you know I'm not into conspiracy theories, or propaganda, or in anyway shape or form racist, fascist or any other ist ...but this is plain weird, I read her FB page

I can even remember our first convo.... he offer to buy us a drink and asked our names, I replied 'Ann and Anne'..I then said 'and you are?' he turned to his friend and replied to me 'Chi and Chi' it still makes me laugh to this day...a sense of humour gets me every time

Oh bliddy heck.....just checked weather for my trip tomorrow , and not only is it going to be wet , it's now going to be windy too !!  

I'm sidetracked on fb with our german doctor friend...she's arranging to come up....you gotta love germans with a wicked sense of humour ..we're done now

agree -teacher I go to choir with is half German and she is quite bossy and lacking in a SOH at times

oh Sandra deffo gets us Baz , I was relentless and she really does enjoy the banter...I've likened her to Merkel, blamed Hitler for the recession and told her they only won the world cup because we weakened Argentina in the Falklands war....she really did laugh and came back for more, more and arranging for more... I must get the Hoochie down, she was here last time and had a blast
