I've got blackout blinds ( coloured ones) in both bedrooms and on the landing ....plus curtains

I have one blackout blind in the kitchen...rest are cream washed venetian wooden blinds and voile curtains...black patterned    by the way, Hoochie thinks they are gorgeous

Nope, small amount of company pension I've applied for now that I'm 55. I need it to pay off some debts and buy a new fridge freezer and maybe even a new phone
