I never thought of that , but let's jus say they went on to solids at an early age !!  

I had to think of something, they would have had to go without 

Honestly , I literally used to heave at the smell ....used to get my ex to make them as often as I could  

I've still got one of the formula tins out in the garage  I presume it was one of mine and Philip ad Malcolm were born waaaay before me

I breastfeed so missed out all that-went back to work when he was 5 months old -I trained him to eat with  a spoon  have lunch from jar in a bowl and have boiled juice-I breastfed him when I got home

Ooo you were good Ros I couldn't breastfeed , for medical reasons , with my son .....and couldn't see the point in changing what I knew with my daughter

Ooo you were good Ros I couldn't breastfeed , for medical reasons , with my son .....and couldn't see the point in changing what I knew with my daughter  

wasn't easy at first -I had pre-eclampsia so was in hospital for MONTHS-when I had him 3 weeks early - then he  got jaundice so was in SCBU -they helped me to learn to breast feed -it was painful at first -I tried bottle at home but he wouldn't have the rubber teat  - no dummy either
